In the meantime, here are a few notable aircraft that will be featured. Please note that all displays are subject to change.

CAF Airbase Georgia

The CAF Airbase Georgia was chartered in 1987 and designated an Airbase in 2021 in recognition of its growth and achievements. Comprising over 300 volunteers, the Airbase operates rare WWII aircraft, including a P-51D Mustang, FG-1D Corsair, one of the few flying SBD-5 Dauntless, P-63A Kingcobra, and more, with additional aircraft under restoration. As a non-profit “flying museum,” Airbase Georgia preserves aviation history and relies on volunteer and donor support. It is the only flying museum in the Atlanta metro area, offering the public a chance to experience historic aircraft up close. CAF Airbase Georgia will offer rides throughout the weekend.

Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation

The Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation, founded in 1988 and based in New Jersey, is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Berlin Airlift. The Foundation restores and operates historic aircraft as “flying memorials and classrooms” to educate the public about this pivotal humanitarian mission. Its Douglas C-54, painted in the colors of the 48th Troop Carrier Squadron, serves as a mobile museum honoring the 101 lives lost during the airlift. The Foundation also operates the Boeing C-97G “Angel of Deliverance,” the largest airworthy piston-powered aircraft, representing the only C-97 used in the airlift. With approximately 500 volunteers, the Foundation brings history to communities across North America and beyond, using its aircraft to engage audiences at airshows, school events, and educational programs. Through these efforts, the Foundation continues to honor the sacrifices of those involved and keep the story of the Berlin Airlift alive for future generations.
